Brits are flocking to Brooklyn, buying brownstones that are only slightly more expensive than a London studio. Whoa. The article also cites the sterilization of Manhattan culture as a reason buyers prefer Brooklyn’s small shops and restaurants. It seems that we’re exporting some Brooklyn too–Junior’s cheesecake has inked a deal to be distributed in Britain.
